INSPHERE are an approved training provider of NPL Training Courses. NPL set the standards for metrology training in the UK, helping customers gain maximum value from their measurement systems. These courses provide the perfect foundation in measurement principles that will underpin the more specific and in-depth concepts covered elsewhere in the INSPHERE Framework.
The NPL training framework is approved by EAL, (part of SEMTA) and validated by the National Skills Academy for Manufacturing (NSA-M).

NPL Level 1
NPL Level 1
NPL Dimensional Measurement Level 1
A nationally accredited training course introducing dimensional metrology, the importance of good measurement practice and the right measurement behaviours.
Cost: £895 +VAT per candidate
Duration: 3 Days
Overview
This course introduces dimensional metrology and its under-pinning principles and methods. Delegates will be taught how to better interpret technical drawings, make fundamental measurement calculations and implement a measurement strategy in a manufacturing engineering environment.
NPL Level 2
NPL Level 2
A four day training nationally accredited course for those who have a good basic understanding of measurement principles gained through the Level 1 training course.
Cost: £1195 +VAT per candidate
Duration: 4 Days
Overview
This course provides the underpinning knowledge for anyone who uses measurement tools or who are required to use co-ordinate measurement techniques to complete their daily tasks. The course also provides the essential elements for those involved in the planning and specification of measurement tasks.
Topics covered include Geometrical Product Specification (GPS), Measurement Principles and Methods, Process Control and Coordinate Measurement Systems.
