Project ACCUFAS (Accurate and Flexible Automation Systems) is developing IONA technology to facilitate high accuracy robot control within the aerospace sector.
Insphere, manufacturers of IONA, have partnered with University of Sheffield AMRC Factory 2050 to lead this project having won funding from NATEP (National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme).
As part of the project and alongside the University of Sheffield, we are hosting an external showcase on 31 October 2023 at Sheffield AMRC Factory 2050. The event is for anyone in industry who is interested in the next generation of technologies for monitoring and guidance in industrial robots and is free to attend.
This event will start at 09:30 with 3-4 short presentations followed by a demonstration of IONA. We will then host a buffet lunch between 12:00-13:00.
