The RCS L-90, developed by Renishaw, is a tool maintenance engineers can use to run robot health-check tests, to assist in the installation and calibration of robot systems.
The tool comprises of a single 90mm linear ballbar kit, and helps to improve robot accuracy, increase deployment speed and monitor robot health with simple routines.
Users can track path performance, repeatability and backlash of any industrial robot over time. Issues identified can then be escalated to the service provider.
